Up band by Jawbone | A New Way To Lose Weight

Then Up band by Jawbone is a cool new gadget that tracks your daily activities to help promote a healthier lifestyle and maybe the new way to lose weight.  The band works with i phones 3Gs, 4G, and 4 S, as well as the i pad, and i pod.  This is hot on the market although you do need an app for it too.

How Much Does It Cost?

If you own one the i phones or other products listed it is free for the app but the bracelet will set you back about hundred bucks right now.  Though with new techie gadgets, the cost is sure to be cut in half in a matter of time.

What Does The Up band Do?

After reading about it I think the real question is what does the Up band not do.  Here is just a few things this smart bracelet can do.  The UP band has a built-in motion sensor that automatically tracks your movement like how many steps you take, distance traveled, how many calories you burn and can even track your how much sleep you get a night.
It can gently wake you up by a soothing vibration at the ideal time your natural sleep pattern has ended.  you also can keep a journal of the food you eat by taking a picture and then writing how the food made you feel, tracking your diet plan and analyzing which foods make you feel good versus the foods that don't.

How Does The Up Band Work?

Using your i phone or other apple device you can sync the information onto the band kinda like you would with a zip drive.  The band is secured by a magnetic and on one of the ends you attach the band to your i phone.  It has a vibration motor to wake you up or remind you it is time to get your body moving.  The Up band also has motion sensors that track your movement and sleep.  It is sweet proof and you can shower with the band.  The durable band runs on a rechargeable battery that lasts about 10 days in a single charge.

The Up band by Jawbone just maybe the new techie innovation to lose weight and make quite the fashion statement.
Here is the official jawbone website to check all the cool things this "smart" band can do.
